Kent Hulnick, PTA/ATC

Kent Hulnick, PTA/ATC is a licensed physical therapy assistant in the Commonwealth of Virginia. He is also board certified by the National Athletic Trainer's Association and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Kent has been a member of the National Athletic Trainer's Association since 1992 and the American Physical Therapy Association since 1997. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Health and Physical Education from the University of Pittsburgh in 1993 and an Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy from Southern Nevada Community College in 1998. He went on to receiv his Master's Degree at George Washington University in 2005 in exercise science, with a concentration in clinical exercise physiology.

In addition to working part-time at Town Center Orthopaedic Associates as a PTA, Kent is the Head Athletic Trainer at South Lakes High School in Reston, Virginia. He previously spent four years as an assistant athletic trainer at The George Washington University where he oversaw the athletic training room at the Mount Vernon Athletic Complex, which is home to GW's men's and women's soccer teams, tennis squads, women's lacrosse team, and softball program. He also taught courses in GW’s undergraduate athletic training program.

Kent worked as a staff athletic trainer at the West Coast Sports Medicine Foundation in Manhattan Beach, CA. providing rehabilitation and treatment services to members of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL) and the NIKE Real Run Summer Professional Basketball League, among others. Previously he has worked as an athletic trainer and physical therapy assistant at several long-term care facilities and also served as the athletic trainer for the Washington Freedom of the W-League.

Kent resides in Reston, VA with his wife, Jill, and their daughter and son.
