Alexis Megow, MOT, OTR/L

Alexis Megow, MOT, OTR/L has been practicing as an Occupational Therapist with Town Center Orthopaedic Associates since October 2006. Originally from Philadelphia, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from The Pennsylvania State University in 1998. She decided to continue her education at the University of St. Augustine in Florida for her Master’s in Occupational Therapy.

As a specialist in upper extremity disorders, Alexis focuses on maintaining an individual’s independence. She tailors programs for patients utilizing therapeutic exercise, neurological re-education and customized orthotic/splinting interventions to enhance the success in returning the patient to physical activities.

In addition to working towards her certification as a hand therapist, Alexis keeps herself busy with exercise, running half marathons, and organized sports.
