Physical and Occupational Therapy are dynamic professions to preserve, develop and restore optimal physical function. At Town Center Orthopaedic Associates, our Physical Therapists (PTs) and Occupational Therapists (OTs) are health care professionals who diagnose and treat people of all ages with medical problems or other health-related conditions that limit their abilities to move and perform functional activities in their daily lives.
Our PTs and OTs examine individuals with impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities and design, implement and modify therapeutic interventions to alleviate these limitations. Our therapists use a team-approach by working closely with your physician to ensure that you are receiving the best quality of care. All of our therapists are licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia and continue as leaders in their field with advanced coursework and seminars.
Our Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) is recognized as an expert for hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder rehabilitation and has 10 years of clinical experience with over 8,000 hours of specialty care in hand therapy. Our CHT has extensive training in advanced splinting and can create custom splints for all hand conditions.
